For details on how your information is secured and how breaches are handled, please see Section 3 Platform Privacy Policy above.

Please note, no system or platform can guarantee complete security because the Internet itself is not 100 percent secure.

You can enhance security on your end by using up-to-date browsers and operating systems, and by keeping your login credentials confidential.

7. Will Your Information Be Shared?

We only share your personal information in limited circumstances where you consent, where required by law, to protect rights and safety, to fulfill business obligations, or to provide our services.

We disclose your information only in the following scenarios:

1. Service Providers & Business Operations: We engage vetted third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer support) who process personal information on our behalf under written agreements that prohibit further use.

We do not sell your information to these vendors; they use it solely to perform services for us.

8. Third-Party Websites & Links

We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content of any third-party websites or services linked to or from our Digital Joe George Sites.

1. External Links & Affiliates:

a. Our Digital Joe George Sites may contain links to external websites including affiliate partners, advertisers, or service providers and social-share buttons for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest, and others.

b. Clicking any link or sharing content transfers you to that third party’s site or opens their application.

2. No Endorsement or Guarantee

a. We do not endorse, control, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any third-party content.

b. You access and interact with all external sites at your own risk.

3. Separate Privacy Practices

9. California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) Compliance

CalOPPA requires commercial websites that collect Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) from California residents to post a conspicuous privacy policy and to disclose how they respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Our CalOPPA Commitments:

1. Conspicuous Posting

a. We maintain a clear “Privacy Policy” link on our home page and all significant entry pages across our Digital Joe George Sites.

2. Policy Content

a. This Privacy Policy accurately describes the categories of PII we collect, how we use and share it (see Sections 3–7), and how users can exercise their privacy rights.

3. Anonymous Access

a. Users may visit and browse most areas of our Digital Joe George Sites without providing PII. Personal information is collected only when you voluntarily provide it (e.g., newsletter sign-up, course enrollment).

4. “Do Not Track” Signals

a. CalOPPA requires disclosure of how we respond to browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because our Digital Joe George Sites rely on the Platform for data collection and analytics, we do not independently modify tracking behavior in response to DNT. You may manage or disable tracking by adjusting your browser’s privacy or tracking settings and by using available opt-out tools provided by analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on).

5. Policy Updates

a. We update this Privacy Policy as needed. The “Effective Date” at the top reflects the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted via a banner on our Digital Joe George Sites and, where feasible, communicated via email to subscribers.

For more information on CalOPPA, visit the California Attorney General’s website: https://oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa.

2. Parental Consent: If you are under 13, you may use our Digital Joe George Sites or services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to our Terms And Conditions and Privacy Policy.

3. No Intentional Collection: We will not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from anyone under 13 years old. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly take steps to delete it.

4. Parental Rights: Parents or guardians may review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child’s information by following the instructions below the title “Procedures For Deletion Requests”.

5. Data Minimization: To the extent a child under 13 is inadvertently enrolled (for example, through a shared family email), we collect only the minimum information necessary for service delivery (name and email), and we will delete it upon verification of the child’s age or receipt of a valid parental request.

Procedures for Deletion Requests:

1. Send your request to support@digitaljoegeorge.com with “COPPA Deletion Request” in the subject line.

2. Include your relationship to the child, the child’s name, email address, the data in question, and any other sufficient detail to locate and remove the data.

3. We will respond to and act on valid requests within 30 days

This policy is designed to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506) and its implementing regulations.

11. Opt-Out & Unsubscribe Rights

You may opt out of all marketing and promotional emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any such email or by contacting us below the section titled “Contact Us”. Opting out will not affect our ability to send you transactional or service-related messages (e.g., enrollment confirmations, password resets).

If you receive promotional communications directly from any third-party partner or affiliate, you must follow their opt-out procedures. We are not responsible for communications sent by third parties.

California residents may also opt out of the sale of their personal information (if applicable) and exercise their CCPA rights by submitting a request to us below the section titled “Contact Us” with “CCPA Opt-Out” in the subject line.
